While we stayed over the weekend in Prague we had so delicious food… I just have to share this with you. Breakfast is my favorite meal so I was especially happy when I found Café Savory and Bistro 8. Both breakfasts where fantastic. At Café Savory I had the healthy breakfast and a spinach omelet that was unique and the bread is self-made and very tasty.
As we stayed at an Airbnb we found at our quarter Bistro 8 and urban café that offers mouthwatering pancakes. I mean just look at the banner picture…
While we strolled through the city we found some cool spots for refreshment. At Herbivore Shop & Bistro I ate an acai bowl and as a drink a beloved coconut. When in Prague you also have to get yourself an ice cream at Amorino. In facts it is quite touristy but it is so pretty cause it is shaped like a rose and it tastes absolutely delicious.
I have to confess that while staying in Prague we ate just once typical Czech food and it was really good. David had some goulash that was served in a loaf of bread and I had a duck with three types of dumplings…yummy.
The other meals where all Asian. Don’t know how that happened but it was so good. I can really recommend the sushi at Hanabi Sushi Bar. But be aware… I did not know that between rice and fish was a thin layer of wasabi…and as u might know I can’t eat spicy at all… so this was a bit tricky but nonetheless fantastic.
We also went to Sasazu which is very stylish restaurant that offers five techniques and elements of Asian cooking. It is located a bit out of the center of Prague. The food was amazing, the drinks good and the service extraordinary but keep in mind to reserve a table before you go there.
A highlight of Prague was for sure the Hemingway Bar…one of the best bars I have ever been to. The cocktails where amazing and very fancy, the selection of spirits huge and the location is very classy and old-fashioned.
